The carriage has four speeds and three stroke lengths, with front mounted controls, and will take food up to 5.75" x 10.75" rectangle or 7.5" in diameter.The top-mounted Borazon® sharpening system sharpens and hones in one action in just 15 seconds, and is dishwasher safe to save you time and ensure it gets thoroughly cleaned. The ring guard and knife cover are also easily removable without tools and able to be washed in and a dishwasher. No-volt release prevents the slicer from automatically restarting in the event of a power loss, gauge plate interlock means the gauge plate must be closed and product tray in home position before the carriage arm can be removed, 30-second shut off automatically turns off the slicer after 30 seconds of non-use, Close to Stop turns off the slicer when the gauge plate is closed, Home to Start prevents the slicer from turning on until the carriage is in the home position, and the Carriage System Interlock prevents the carriage from tilting or removing if the gauge plate is not closed.
