ACP has a long history of creating solutions that help operators serve high quality food, faster. From the first microwave oven in the 1950's, to the first speed oven in the 1980's, and more. Today, ACP continues its legacy of innovation—designing, fabricating, and assembling commercial microwave and speed ovens in the USA.
“We make almost everything to order, we don't pre-cook any food, so in order to do that I need (ACP) technology to help speed things up.”
ACP Inc, can trace its roots back to 1947 when Raytheon® built the first microwave oven, the Model 1161. This 6' tall, 750 lb monstrosity cost over 50K US dollars in today's currency. In 1965, Raytheon acquired Amana Refrigeration, and just 2 years later the world was introduced to its first affordable microwave oven: The Amana Radarange®.
